Gary Rogers PRCA Rodeo Announcer Co-announcing this year’s rodeo will be Gary Rogers from Layton, Utah. Gary is no stranger to rodeo, coming up through the ranks of riding bareback horses and bulls since the age of 12. His mentor was the late Mel Lambert of Salem, Oregon. Gary has had his PRCA announcer’s card since 1981 and has announced rodeos from Florida to Alaska. His career has taken him to 11 states and 2 Canadian Provinces in his career, including the Indian National Finals rodeo in San Carlos, Arizona last year. Attending college in Oregon, Gary college rodeoed in the 70’s and teaches high school in Clearfield, Utah, while announcing around 50 rodeo performances a year. Welcome to Phelan Gary!
