The everyday chores and duties of ranch life that evolved into the only working-lifestyle professional sport that can claim the title is like looking into a window from the past. I feel an obligation to help keep this window open and let all who looks through gain a bit more knowledge about that western way of life that has all but disappeared. Our agriculture industry that is still such a vital part of our lives today and the real cowboys who have helped shape this land we all love. I am dedicated to this sport called Rodeo and to the morals and values she hopes to instill in us. I am honored to be your 2008 Phelan Rodeo Jr. Queen.
